01232018 – Ski and Shovel

This morning started the serious work of digging out from the 9-14 inches that we got.

After resting from that I went out for a ski on some of the South Wirth trails and accumulated just over 7k in about 70 minutes. The trails had been rolled but not tracked until on my way back. So I’m sure that added extra work to my classic skiing! It sure was beautiful though.

Then in the afternoon kids and I went with friends sledding and my phone roughly estimates that we walked 2.5 miles with at least half of that climbing and in deep snow!

01222028 – Snow

I’ve been sick since last Weds. Friday and Saturday were the worst. Possibly Influenza B and Viral Upper Respitory Infection. I felt good enough to go with the kids to ski lessons. Today we got tons of snow. Some of the drifts are over a foot. We got around 9 inches. Today’s workout activities included helping push a bus that was stuck, shoveling and snow plowing part of the sidewalk!

01162018 – Crossfit

12 minutes to a Heavy 1×3 Overhead Squat

I completed 3 reps at 85#  I attempted 95# and did 1 full rep and maybe 2 that were about 1/2 the correct depth.

Then

As Many Rounds as Possible in 12 minutes:

20 Power Snatches 65#

20 Lateral Burpees over Barbell

20 Overhead Squats 65#

20 Lateral Burpees over Barbell

20 Full Snatches 65#

I completed 0 rounds and 90 reps, so I got half way through the snatches before time was over.

My time for the first part was 20:47 and the last row almost made me puke. 

When I got home I had to snow blow and shovel!
