We spent the afternoon in Providence, RI seeing some sights before heading to our final destination of Newport. Providence is an interesting city. \u00a0It appears to be undergoing a lot of building rehab in the downtown area, but it still has a long ways to go. \u00a0Areas around Brown College, Federal Hill, and I'm sure others provide bright spots of amazing houses, buildings, and boutique stores and restaurants. \u00a0By the advice of a friend we spent most of our time downtown. \u00a0Enjoying lunch at Local 121<\/a>, shakes at the Cuban Revolution<\/a>, and a quick art stop at AS220<\/a>. \u00a0We arrived at our B&B and had dinner at the Brick Alley Pub and Restaurant<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Oh, so this mural was in the parking lot next to the Cuban Revolution. \u00a0Providence does have a lot of amazing murals.\u00a0<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
