{"id":2829,"date":"2011-08-30T07:03:41","date_gmt":"2011-08-30T12:03:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/?p=2829"},"modified":"2011-08-30T07:03:41","modified_gmt":"2011-08-30T12:03:41","slug":"weekly-report-27","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2011\/weekly-report-27\/","title":{"rendered":"Weekly Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had some problems importing the GPS tracks into the Dailymile so there is not report from them this week. \u00a0 Though RunningAhead produced these numbers:<\/p>\n<p>Bike: 27.5 mi<\/p>\n<p>Run: 19.9 mi<\/p>\n<p>Sadly it was the second week in a row that I didn&#8217;t get to swim. \u00a0It was a crazy busy week as I tried to juggle working and taking care of Nadia at the same time. \u00a0It was also the &#8220;last week of summer&#8221; as work started back up and kids reported to school yesterday. \u00a0I also shifted the schedule around so that I did an hour on the bike trainer since I knew I wouldn&#8217;t have a bike over the weekend while camping.<\/p>\n<p>Back to the swimming thing, you&#8217;ll remember 2 weeks ago I had setup the YWCA&#8217;s baby sitting service, only to find out that the pool at that center was closed. \u00a0I was going to go swimming one afternoon after work at the Midtown YWCA which is super\u00a0convenient, only to find out that its pool closed the day before for its annual maintenance. \u00a0Ugh. \u00a0 I know I can swim the distance, but I still really need to get into the open water and swim.<\/p>\n<p>I had 3 very unexciting runs. \u00a0I felt pretty good on my first run post-Ragnar, a little soreness but it was no big deal. \u00a0Over the weekend we went camping with my sister at <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.wi.gov\/org\/land\/parks\/specific\/buckhorn\/\">Buckhorn State Park<\/a> in Wisconsin. \u00a0Not a very exciting place though I did manage a 9 and 4.75 mile run on super flat trails. \u00a0The first part of the shorter run was with my sister who is trying to get into a routine of running. \u00a0It started super slow but then I did some fartlek intervals towards the end. \u00a0It felt good to get some faster running in. \u00a0I probably won&#8217;t have any speed &#8211; just endurance.<\/p>\n<p>All of the bike miles listed are from commuting, though I did spend an hour on the trainer one morning. \u00a0I had a day of 20 miles commuting (with about 7 of it pulling the trailer) and going to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ynpntwincities.org\">YNPN<\/a> event.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully this coming week will be better. \u00a0We shall see!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had some problems importing the GPS tracks into the Dailymile so there is not report from them this week. \u00a0 Though RunningAhead produced these numbers: Bike: 27.5 mi Run: 19.9 mi Sadly it was the second week in a row that I didn&#8217;t get to swim. \u00a0It was a crazy busy week as I [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_dont_email_post_to_subs":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":false,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","default_image_id":0,"font":"","enabled":false},"version":2},"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false},"categories":[13],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2829","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-my-running"],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"jetpack_featured_media_url":"","jetpack_shortlink":"https:\/\/wp.me\/p4iaAv-JD","jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"jetpack-related-posts":[{"id":2852,"url":"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2011\/weekly-report-28\/","url_meta":{"origin":2829,"position":0},"title":"Weekly Report","author":"crossn81","date":"September 5, 2011","format":false,"excerpt":"A busy first week back at work with kids. \u00a0I was on my feet a lot which was quite a change from August! \u00a0My legs were tired from standing on the concrete floors and just putting in a full work day again!
