{"id":1828,"date":"2010-02-02T12:46:52","date_gmt":"2010-02-02T17:46:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/?p=1828"},"modified":"2010-02-02T12:46:52","modified_gmt":"2010-02-02T17:46:52","slug":"tcm-registration-opens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2010\/tcm-registration-opens\/","title":{"rendered":"TCM Registration Opens"},"content":{"rendered":"<table align=\"right\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mtcmarathon.org\/navImages\/MTCMTopRightLogo.gif?w=625\" alt=\"\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Today marks the beginning of registration for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mtcmarathon.org\/index.cfm\">Twin Cities Marathon<\/a> on October 3.\u00a0 This is the earliest registration has opened and they are expecting it to sell out quickly.<\/p>\n<p>From the official press release (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mtcmarathon.org\/News\/Documents\/Medtronic%20Twin%20Cities%20Marathon%20Registration%20To%20Open%20Early.pdf\">pdf<\/a>):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIn the past, we\u2019ve opened registration in late April,\u201d said Achman [Twin Cities In Motion executive director Virginia Brophy Achman]. \u201cThe earlier registration date will give marathoners from around the world the opportunity to include the Most Beautiful Urban Marathon In America\u00ae in annual travel plans,\u201d said Achman. The marathon takes place Sunday, October 3, 2010 and typically fills its spring-time registration within a month.
