{"id":1705,"date":"2009-11-23T03:37:02","date_gmt":"2009-11-23T08:37:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/?p=1705"},"modified":"2009-11-22T17:55:21","modified_gmt":"2009-11-22T22:55:21","slug":"another-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2009\/another-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Another Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Without working out.\u00a0 But another week being sick.\u00a0 I actually started feeling worse this week, developing a cough mid-week that still has me down.\u00a0 After a few late nights and stressful days at work my body was run down and\u00a0 enjoyed taking a sick day on Friday.\u00a0 Hopefully I&#8217;ll start feeling better soon.\u00a0 It has been really frustrating because the weather has been so nice and perfect for running but I&#8217;ve been stuck inside healing up my foot and my sinus\/cough issues.<\/p>\n<p>On the foot front, things are feeling pretty good.\u00a0 I bought a pair of neutral shoes to test out my experiment of switching running shoes.\u00a0 So far, in the walking around category, my foot has enjoyed a more neutral approach.\u00a0 We&#8217;ll see.\u00a0 Maybe I&#8217;ll go to a store and do a treadmill test before I start running again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Past Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In my ongoing look at other blogs I talked about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2007\/phedippidations-the-blog\/\">Steve Runner&#8217;s blog<\/a>. It is almost all just show notes.\u00a0 In 2007, I ran the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2007\/race-review-dino-series-7-fort-harrison\/\">DINO Series &#8211; Fort Harrison<\/a> race.\u00a0 I miss running the DINO races and their excellent race director Brian.\u00a0 I also did an in-depth review of the three training cylces from 2007, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2007\/training-analysis-part-1\/\">the first talks<\/a> about my slow comeback from injury.<\/p>\n<p>Last year I did an in-depth review of <em>Running &#8211; the Sacred Art<\/em> reviewing the book chapter by chapter.\u00a0 The first in the eight part series was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2008\/foundations-of-a-spiritual-runner\/\">Foundations of a Spiritual Runner<\/a>.\u00a0 You will probably want to skip this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2008\/foto-friday-50\/\">Foto Friday<\/a> picture of Nathan without his shirt on, eating a hot dog.\u00a0 By the way, Nathan moved, got married, and forgot how to <a href=\"http:\/\/minnehahablog.blogspot.com\/\">update his blog<\/a>, or something like that!
