Hard to believe that June is here already!<\/p>\n<p>Now that I&#8217;ve got two years worth of posts to choose from, I&#8217;ll be sure to pick only a few highlights and continue to show last year&#8217;s weekly mileage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Past Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>See how it all began with the original (now defunct) Run Central Indiana <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2007\/welcome\/\">welcome post<\/a>.\u00a0 You can use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2007\/chart-map-your-favorite-course\/\">gmap pedometer<\/a> to create running routes.\u00a0 Last year&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2008\/foto-friday-26\/\">Foto Friday<\/a> was me &#8220;floating&#8221; in the TC 1 Mile.\u00a0\u00a0 Remember all those funny <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2008\/ever-feel-like-this\/\">treadmill videos<\/a>? I posted the shrimp running.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Last Year&#8217;s Mileage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Run: 18.0 Miles<br \/>\nBike: 47.3 Miles<\/p>\n<p>The week started off with a 5k race around Lake Nokomis on <strong>Monday <\/strong>morning.\u00a0 I ran a 19:45 at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamcrossworld.com\/running\/2009\/race-review-brian-kraft-5k\/\">Brian Kraft 5k<\/a>. It was nice to race a shorter distance on a beautiful morning.\u00a0 On <strong>Wednesday <\/strong>I ran the 3.25 mile Metrodome loop in 24:14.\u00a0 It was overcast and 53 and humid. My foot felt ok.\u00a0 <strong>Thursday<\/strong> I ran the 3.2 miles around Lake Calhoun in 22:25.\u00a0 As I started the run I felt good and thought about making it a progression run, but it was more like a tempo run.\u00a0 It was 46 and sunny, a good day to run in my new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0024VGVGK?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=crossinator-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B0024VGVGK\">Nike Structure Triax 12<\/a>&#8216;s.\u00a0 After the run I waded into the lake so that my knees were covered.\u00a0 It felt good &#8211; cood but not freezing.\u00a0 My IT Band has been tighter than normal lately.\u00a0 Before working at the Midtown Farmers Market on <strong>Saturday<\/strong> I did a 4 mile run on the Greenway.\u00a0 It was 60 and very sunny, the Greenway was busy with bikers, runners, and dog-walkers.\u00a0 <strong>Sunday<\/strong> I had planned to run with the guys, but they had either changed the meeting location or I went to the wrong place because I was the only one who showed up at the place I thought we were meeting!\u00a0 No bother I went for a nice hour run along the Minnesota River Valley on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.visi.com\/~tam\/mtb.html#mnvalley\">Minnesota River Bottoms Trail<\/a>. It went by really fast.\u00a0 The trail was sandier than I remembered it being.\u00a0 It was about 50 and sunny &#8211; in the shade of the trail it felt pretty cool &#8211; but perfect temps!
