I didn't run the Get in Gear this year and truthfully didn't watch much of the race.  After a group training run for Team World Vision a friend and I stopped by for awhile and watched.  We did get to see the half-marathon leaders finish and a bunch of the back of the pack 5k and 10k runners.  It was fun to watch.  This is looking up the road to the finish.  The Get in Gear finish is under the American Flag strung between two fire truck ladders. 

On a tour with 6th graders at the Univ of Minn we came across this very clear sign. Patriarchy should be careful and maybe wear a cup on campus!

After trying for the last few days to capture a picture of the bird actually sitting in the nest I finally succeeded tonight.  Rather fitting for Earth Day if I do say so! We bought this pot on Sunday and by Monday morning there was the nest.  I thought the bird was picking at the flowers.  Not 100% what I think of this situation, but it could be fun to watch the eggs and babies hatch! 

From this angle this downtown building looks like a sail.

Got this cool picture tonight.  The bees are enjoying this beautiful tree.  It is nice to have some color in the yard, besides dandelions.  Have no idea what kind of tree this is, but we have one in the front and back yards.  This bee is actually in mid-air!
