Via Winona.

Sunday we did hiked up Brady’s Bluff and onto Perrot’s Ridge both inside Perrot State Park. It got up into the mid-80’s with that much humidity which made us fairly miserable.  After the hike we went for a drive to find ice cream and didn’t have any luck at the nearby marina’s but we did see some boats go through Lock #6.  We finally found some ice cream and ventured into the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge but the heat and bugs didn’t make for too enjoyable of a visit. 

We went camping this weekend at Perrot State Park in Wisconsin.  It was a lot of fun.  Saturday afternoon we went canoeing in Trempealeau Bay on a 3.4 mile water trail. It was a lot of fun except for the really strong head wind that tried to flip the canoe at one point as it spun us around!  Saturday’s weather wasn’t too bad! 

Some our students helped put on a pow-wow tonight. It was alot of fun to see them in the dresses they made. This is some of the in the pic.

Sadly our veggies are starting to pile up! But we got some more good ones!
