This is the southwest corner of our house. These poor trees get dumped on, frozen, and thaw many times throughout the winter.

Snow Tubing Field Trip
One of the privleges of my position is the occasional field trip. Today’s was the best yet. By far! Snow tubing with 8th graders as a reward for C or higher averages at Green Acres Recreation. All 41 students enjoyed the beautiful day and playing in the snow!
Shiny Tree
The sun found it’s way back out today and made for a glorious day (even spent inside). I caught this tree on my way to work!
Snowshoeing Minnehaha Creek
Another snow shoe adventure down Minnehaha Creek to the Mississippi River. Warmer weather had made the creek unsafe to actually walk on for most of the trip, so that was a little disappointing.
