A friend’s son recently ran this race in the Outer Banks called the Killer Dunes 2 mile.
He placed 3rd in his age group in 17:27, just over a minute behind the winner.
I think that’s pretty good and thought the race sounded like fun – thus the picture!

Tired of the heat, this picture takes us back to January 18, 2008 when it was stinking cold outside. My log says that it was 1 degree with -21 windchill and I was running on thick snow pack. Taken on my Palm Centro.

In honor of the Olympic Trials which are this weekend here is a race number from a college race I did. We ran some races that got leftover supplies from the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, which is where this number came from. I’ve shown other Olympic numbers before.
