		<description>I think I would agree on the Eco-Gym thing...  It is a neat idea and I&#039;m sure some people will do it, but my YWCA membership is doing good work too... 

Everyone has a niche - it would be interesting to see their trends over time!</description>

I thought to myself that this is probably a poor time to be in the &quot;green&quot; business, as most consumers are only going to pay the premium when times are good and right now times are not good and people are being more frugal.

I personally think a lot of it is a gimick.  Let&#039;s say you work out at 24 Hour Fitness and have a $29 a month membership.  What&#039;s the superior ROI, if you are &quot;green.&quot;  Do you join a green gym, or do you simply donate that $20 that you are not spending at the green gym to buy carbon credits, etc.  My guess is that your money is better off being donated to a larger organization as they would be more efficient with your funds.
